About Babun Ghosh

Babun Ghosh, a globally acclaimed fine artist and visualiser, expresses his artistic prowess through diverse mediums such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, and charcoal. Influenced by Bengal’s rich artistic heritage, his portfolio encompasses nature, landscapes, portraits, architecture, and tribal motifs like Madhubani and Gond art. Ghosh’s international recognition is evident through exhibitions held in prestigious galleries worldwide, including the esteemed Chitra Sante of Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru. In addition to showcasing his work in galleries, Ghosh is actively involved in mural projects for corporate clients.

He was born in Kolkata, and has now made Bengaluru his karmabhoomi. With his wealth of experience, Mr. Ghosh offers comprehensive art classes tailored to individuals of all ages, both online and offline at his renowned art institute, Sri Krishna Modern Art School (SKMRT). Furthermore, Ghosh contributes to the artistic community by organizing workshops focused on papier-mâché, clay modeling, and the creation of clay Ganesha sculptures.

Babun Ghosh consistently explores connections between myth, religion, history, facts, and online information. In his sculptural installations, the distinction between reality and artifice becomes indistinct.
